Here we describe and outline how we - as responsible provider - process personal data (referred as "data") on our websites and online systems (referred as "sites"). In detail, we would like to inform you about:

- What data do we collect?
- What is the purpose and the legal ground for this collection?
- Where do we use this data?
- What are your rights and how to exercise them?

We collect and process following data of individuals who visit our website without registering themselves or getting in contact with us:

- IP (anonymized before saving) and / or MAC address
- site usage data (e.g. web pages visited, access times)
- meta data (e.g. device, OS, browser, monitor size, referrer URL)
- Cookies (see below in detail)
- any other data that may be relevant for one of the purposes described below

In case you register for one of our sites and/or use one of our contact forms, additionally to the above we may collect and process following data:

- master data (e.g. first and family name, address)
- contact details (e.g. telephone, email address)
- related organisation (company name, kind of business)
- site user information (login, password, language, notification preference)

However, the data collection is always limited to data necessary to process your request. You are mostly free to decide whether or not to provide data to us, but please be aware that some functionality and areas on our sites require data to grant you access and / or function as expected.
We collect and process your data based on your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR), on a contract (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR):

- to provide you access to dismantling information
- to improve the user experience on our sites
- to process and reply on your requests
- to inform you about the latest development on our sites
- to enable you to save your preferences (e.g. language, country, last visited vehicles)

In general, the main and only purpose of these sites is to promote the safe, environmental friendly and economically treatment of ELVs by providing dismantling information to certified dismantlers.
We do our utmost to ensure that data collected is used for the purpose mentioned in this document and that this data is correct and up to date. However, you have the right to assure yourself of the data that we have collected and that your data is correct. Therefore, you have following rights:

- the right to access your data
- the right to request rectification, completion, update and / or erasure of your data
- the right to restrict processing
- the right withdraw your consent and to object further processing
- the right, to get your data in a portable format

Additionally, we confirm that we do not use any automated-decision making when we process your data.
We do not store any data longer than necessary to fulfil the purpose mentioned above. However, it may be required by applicable national law to store your data longer than necessary.

In accordance with Art. 32 GDPR, we have taken measures to ensure an appropriate level of security for the data collected. Additionally, we review and update our IT infrastructure and procedures on regular basis according the principles of data protection by design and default (Art. 25 GDPR).

Data recipients, third parties and data transfer outside the EU

In general, we do not transfer any data to third parties if it is not related to the purpose of the data collection. Third parties may include our hosting providers for our sites, our service provider for newsletters and Google analytics for the usage analysis. If data is transfered and processed to/by these third parties, it is limited to the necessary scope (e.g. email and name for newsletter, made anonymous IP address for Google analytics).
On various pages we use cookies improve the user experience of our sites and enable the use of certain specific functions. Cookies are small text files your browser may store on your computer. The process of storing a cookie file on your computer is also called “setting a cookie”. You can configure your browser yourself to your own specifications, so that you will be informed whenever any cookies are set, and decide on a case by case basis, or generally, by default, either to accept or refuse such cookies. Cookies can be set for different purposes, e.g. to identify that your PC has already had a connection to our sites (permanent cookies) to store viewed offers (session cookies). Most of the cookies we use are deleted from your hard disk after the end of the browser session (session cookies).

For a clean and uniform of our sites we use web fonts provided by Google, i.e. when you visit our sites your browser loads the required fonts into your browser cache.

For this, your browser connects with a Google server to download the required fonts, so Google becomes aware of the IP address of oyur internet connection.

If your browser does not support web fonts your computer uses a standard font.
